Changelog
Added the following projects:
Removed the following projects:
Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:
- The illusion of stuff to do:
- Updated many, many mods which were meant to be, but for some reason only I had them up-to-date.
- Increase default catenary length from
16to32 - Updated graphics for the radial menus
- More, subtle inventory animations for mundane actions
- Added bundle-like functionality for the Lunchbox containers. Items can be inserted or extracted from within the inventory
- Added a small glass tunnel for the ability to explore the Water-type raid den
- Added café outfits for Inteleon, Zebstrika, Scolipede, Rayquaza, Snivy, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Kirlia
- Fixed female Eevee's costume not applying
The Dream Dimension
Added a whole new Dream Dimension, or "Dream World", whatever. This is essentially a more grounded and game-feeling way of a temporary "resource world", in where any item you find is yours to keep. It doesn't feature anything too special, unless you let it expire. In order to access the Dream Dimension, you must sleep after consuming any fermented drink and getting Tipsy. If you lag a bit and can't get out of bed, that's your clue. You'll begin safely descending into an alternative version of the Overworld. There are a few catches.
- To come back home, use a Bed or Raid Den Crystal. In fact, neither are usable here.
- If you die here, you don't. You still would rather not die, though. It's quite the burden.
- Don't expect anything you place down in here to remain forever. They will be lost eventually.
The moment you enter, the Dream Dimension will begin to expire. By default, it lasts 1 real-time hour or so, but this can be changed with the dream_duration gamerule. The dimension will keep expiring even when no one is inside. You may or may not want to be there when that happens.
Note: Based on a few performance euristics, the Dream Dimension "prepares" itself periodically even when no one is inside, in order to avoid generating chunks on the spot.
General modpack stuff
- You can now carry Noteblocks. Doing so keeps their assigned note
- Speaking of which, you can now tune down Noteblocks by sneaking and right-clicking on them
- You can now feed fire-like items from Cobblemon and My Nether's Delight to Blaze Burners because I said so
- That includes Fire TM/TRs
- Many prepared foods have had their Diversity value changed
- This includes regional delicacies, candies,
- This is to further encourage a loosely varied diet, even if I will likely explore alternatives to this system in the far future
- The lowered chance to spawn Endermen has been removed (because I have no idea why there's so few of them)
- Lower the sound volume of Critters 'n' Crawlers considerably
- Deers and Giant Boars no longer spawn naturally in flat worlds
- Change the inventory sound of Graffiti
- Double the capacity of the Temporal Pouch from 1 day to 2 days
- Noibat and Noivern can now drop Bat Wings
Default Keybinds
Keep in mind these changes only apply if the keybinds are reset manually, or on a fresh installation of the modpack:
- Storage radial menu has been reassigned from
GtoShift + B - Map radial menu has been reassigned from
JtoShift + M- A recent update makes radial menus account for key modifiers, which allows these menus' locations to make a whole lot more sense
- Construction Sticks's Show Previous and Undo Operation have been assigned to
Tab.- You have to hold down this keybind and right-click to undo. This functionality has also been documented as an aside
- The keybind was chosen to make this more discoverable, even accidentally, while not being intrusive
Recipe changes
- You can now grind Flourescent Cattail into Glowstone
- It's not particularly efficient but I'm curious to see
- Soap can now also be crafted with Bleachdew
- If you saw both you can understand why. The existing recipe is a bit annoying, and I dare find anyone that has tried it. Soap is a pretty nifty item and is needed for the even niftier Bubble Blower, so that's a shame. Hopefully, on the crave for getting a whole new dye and exploring the possibilities of Arts & Crafts, Soap could be noticed.
- The Schematicannon now requires a Cannon to instead of a Dispenser. Duh?
- Also requires one less Iron Block as a result
- The Cannon now always requires a Slingshot instead of a Dispenser
- Design-wise, if you have ever messed with the Slingshot, you can see why. But most people haven't, and that is a shame. Hopefully this will encourage owning one, at least temporarily.
- Cannonballs now require Iron Ingots and an Iron Ball instead of Iron Blocks
- The amount you get has been changed to compensate, but make no mistake. Cannonballs are considerably cheaper now
- Tera Pouches now require Canvas instead of Leather
- This is for existing consistency with the modpack's usage of Canvas
- A Sack requires slightly less canvas
- I acknowledge that the relatively-undocumented process of collecting Canvas to have a Backpack is a bit steep and tedious. I had wanted to do this for a bit to slightly mitigate it
- Luminous Jelly can now be crafted by mixing Glowberries, any other berries, and Sugar
- Luminous Moss now requires Luminous Jelly instead of Glowberries
- Berry Jam Jar (which is a block from Handcrafted) now requires Sweet Berry Jam (from Brewin' and Chewin')
Recipe Viewer
- The Pokemon Café and Poke Costumes cosmetics and their respective items are now documented
- Due to limitations this has been a semi-manual job. Le sigh...
- Add a bunch of texual information as "recipes"
- They come as either more "World Interactions" or "Info". This is mostly to test the waters. Even seeing if they're read in the first place.
- Link more potion effects to their respective sources. For example:
- Cleanse effects to Sinister Tea infused with Milk, White Herb, and Mental Herb
- Sun's Blessing to trading with Umvuthi
- Glowing with the Spyglass's enchantments (yes it has those)
- Hide a bunch of unused and redundant potion effects
- Add more unique representations of tags when used in recipes
- More aliases, blah blah blah
- Enable a certain easter egg
Snorefest
- Holding a few storage items such as Toolboxes, Packages, or Sophisticated Shulker Boxes can now make you Encumbered.
- This derives from a tag borrowed from Supplementaries's Sack that didn't quite work as expected, and now it does, so I can write down pointless stuff like this.
- Backpacks were already afflicted by this, but this is a somewhat unrelated calculation. You can hold one Backpack and one Shulker Box and still not be Encumbered. Variation is encouraged.
- Fix easter eggs not working properly in multiplayer
- Fix the hotbar selection quaking in fear
- Fix Food Diversity benefits stacking to a ridiculous extent and overloading the game when switching dimensions
- Fix a potential error spam when hovering over items representing multiple block shapes
- Fix a bunch of miscellaneous tags missing
